Shuttered or curtain illuminators are designed to enhance visualization of dense difficult to interpret mammograms. Adjustable shutters in either manual or motorized versions operate independently from all four sides to block extraneous light around films on any size, or to collimate down to inspect a single lesion. All units are also rheostat adjustable and conform to ACR luminance levels.

MODEL 248056 is a 8 lamp, 36 w, 6 over 6, 18 x 24 cm or 5 over 5, 24 x 30 cm (with overlap) unit. Viewing surface is 108 x 54 cm with light levels up to 6000 nit. Unit has adjustable rheostat and manual shutters.

MODEL 248065 is identical to Model 248056 except it features motor-driven shutters and is available with an optional adjustable sliding center film grip to accept 3 -14” x 7” film or 6 -18 x 24 cm or 24 x 30 cm films (with overlap).
