Pediatric AP-PA Hand/Foot Immobilizer

Finally, an effective product to immobilize both the right and left hands or feet, simultaneously, for comparative studies. Designed with a special pressure conforming foam which molds itself to the object under pressure. Later, after the pressure is released, the foam returns to its original shape, 100%. The soft 8 mil. vinyl is used as a compression band with velcro fastening to the Plexiglas™ base. The vinyl conforms to the patient’s extremities and allows for maximum pressure needed to effectively immobilize. Clear vinyl allows the technologist to examine for correct positioning. Engineered to fit over an 8" x 10" film cassette. Four, ridged, rubber bottom pads prevent sliding off the cassette. All vinyl components are heat sealed to prevent contamination of the pads. Soft vinyl is easily cleaned with a damp cloth and resists staining.
